This is for Lane - I was just talking to Lynnie - so I looked you up and found you. Good for you to keep up with the music - nice stuff here with this band. I still remember when we first heard Sgt. Pepper's so many years ago riding in Richard See's VW beetle on a sunny southern California day (circa 1967). John Lennon made his mark on you.
Music is still in my heart as well. I have a four woman acappella maritime group (The Johnson Girls) with three CDs and travels all over the US and overseas. Sing with my husband, Dan Milner, too - traditional Irish songs and ballads in the English language.
Never lose that wonderful spirit for music cultivated so many years ago on a small college campus.

Dear Lane and Gang: I want to tell you how much I love the new One to the Fourth CD. The first track is amazing, but what really blows me away is the purity of the music. Now this is hard to put into words....but your voice and that guy's guitar.....it's all coming from a place so pure and good that....as musicians, it's what we all strive for, but to *hear* that, in every single track....is pretty astounding. I listened to some of the music on the CD and so far, the ones I did hear is just the kind of music I’d pop on my CD player and lean back and “dream”. Very smooth… The CD name is very appropriate ~ but don’t pat yourselves too hard on the back…. Anyone making music in that setting would have come up w/the same name…lol… Great Job Guys!!!

Thanks for deliverling your new CD. I played it right through and listened closely, but felt I neede headphones to hear it better. I could use a better system to play it on. Our music system is rudimentary. I prefer to reserve further comment until I DO get to hear it again through earphones. I might have a suggestion or two that is constructive.
